ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

At age fifty seven, a professional art career for Chris Boone has been a long time coming. He grew up in his grandmother's and father's art studio, in Atlanta Georgia, and spent many hours with his father, creating art. He has fond memories of being with him, in the studio, painting side-by-side, watching and learning.

Chris was at the young age of thirteen, when his father met an untimely death at age thirty eight. He continued to draw, paint, and make art on his own, while his mother struggled to raise her two boys.

Chris excelled in high school sports, and after graduation had a stint in the army. Afterwards he went into Hotel management, during which time he started his own business publishing a small newspaper. After liquidating the newspaper he started a graphic design business which he kept for awhile. Ultimately, he settled in the construction industry.

Chris was accepted in an art gallery in Atlanta Georgia in the late 1970's for a period of time where he sold many of his works. In 2005 he volunteered for two ninety day tours in Iraq for the Department of Defense to help armor up vehicles for the U.S. forces. This experience changed his perspective about life, and after returning home, began a new relationship with a woman whom he adores, who inspired him to pursue his passion of creating art.

Chris comes to the art community with an eclectic approach. He works with a wide range of styles and mediums and is able to produce art at many levels. Chris has a magic touch to his art that is unique only to him, and one that will touch and inspire everyone.
